    ATAP is short for alcohol training awareness program. The ATAP course is intended to bring alcohol awareness and teach responsible alcohol sales techniques in the state of New York. You will learn the general liabilities and obligations you have as a seller-server of alcohol. You will also learn how to correctly identify a minor and how to deal with sticky situations when you cannot sell to intoxicated persons or people you suspect have a fake ID.

  1. What is the New York ATAP exam like?
    The exam is 25 multiple choice questions. You must pass with a 70% which means you have need to answer 18 questions correctly. You are allowed to take this exam twice. All ATAP test and answers come straight from the course. No tricks. No gimmicks.
  2. How long does it take?
